Mr. Cline often travels across the country trying to protect the best interest of the public, and is active in trying to prevent the next mortgage-prompted recession. He was also recently active in fighting against lowering the qualification standards to become an appraiser.

He was instrumental in starting the Residential Appraiser Project Team (RAPT) within the Appraisal Institute which was designed to promote the residential appraiser within AI and across the country.
